DPRK's Birthday Marked in Different Countries
Pyongyang, September 13 (KCNA) -- Korean film shows took place in South Africa, Nigeria, Uganda, Guinea, Mongolia, Indonesia and Singapore on the 64th anniversary of the DPRK from Aug. 29 to Sept. 6.

Korean films shown included "Fireworks for a Thriving Nation".

A secretary of the Mfumalanga Provincial Committee of the South African Communist Party said the 64-year-long history of the DPRK is the one of the wise leadership of Kim Il Sung and Kim Jong Il and a true history in which they made efforts to meet the interests of the people, placing them above anything else.

The dear respected Kim Jong Un, successor to the cause of the preceding leaders, is glorifying Kim Il Sung's nation and Kim Jong Il's Korea, he added.

The chairman of the Nigerian Group for Study of Kimilsungism-Kimjongilism noted Kim Jong Il formulated Songun politics as a main political mode under socialism and pursued Songun politics in all fields, defending socialism in Korea despite the worst adversity in the closing years of the last century.

The chairman of the Kampala City Committee of the Uganda National Resistance Movement said the Korean people are the people to be envied by the world as they are under the outstanding leader.

The manager of a Singaporean trading company expressed the conviction that the Korean people would surely realize the desire of Kim Jong Il for building a thriving nation, true to the leadership of Kim Jong Un.
