The work, published on January 3, 1992, clarifies that a historic lesson drawn from socialist construction is that it is necessary to steadily strengthen the driving force for revolution with faith in socialism and a correct guiding idea, adhere to the principle of socialism and strengthen the comradely unity and cooperation based on independence.

The work clarifies the idea that it is the general line of the Workers' Party of Korea for building socialism to strengthen the people's government and increase its function and role and thoroughly carry out the three revolutions -- ideological, technical and cultural. The work also explains the validity of the idea.
