Greetings to Kim Jong Un from Leaders of Brazilian Communist Party
Pyongyang, September 12 (KCNA) -- Kim Jong Un, first secretary of the Workers' Party of Korea, received a message of greeting from National Chairman Renato Ravello and International Secretary Ricardo Alemao Abreu of the Central Committee of the Brazilian Communist Party on Sept. 8.

The message said:

We extend congratulations to you in the name of the Brazilian Communist Party on the occasion of the 64th birthday of the DPRK.

It was thanks to Comrade Kim Il Sung who founded the DPRK that the Korean people started their socialist construction.

The DPRK has promoted its people's welfare and created all conditions for defending the country's independence and sovereignty to cope with the ceaseless siege and threat of the U.S. imperialists while weathering all sorts of difficulties in the course of accelerating socialist construction for more than six decades since its foundation.

Joining the Korean people in celebrating this significant day, the Brazilian Communist Party wishes the Workers' Party of Korea success in meeting challenges.

Please accept our fraternal salute.
