State Industrial Art Exhibition Closes
Pyongyang, September 12 (KCNA) -- The state industrial art exhibition which opened on April 10 to celebrate the centenary of the birth of President Kim Il Sung was closed on Wednesday.

The exhibition was visited by more than 80 000 people including senior party and state officials, officials of ministries and national institutions, service personnel of the Korean People's Army, people from all walks of life, youth and students, overseas Koreans and foreigners.

A closing ceremony took place at the State Industrial Art Center. Present there were Vice-Premier Ri Mu Yong, officials concerned, creators, teachers and students in the industrial art field and amateurs.

Ri Mu Yong in a closing address said that Generalissimo Kim Jong Il gave a task to splendidly hold the state industrial art exhibition on the centenary of birth of the President and indicated in detail how to arrange the exhibition such as its theme and hosting place.

The dear respected Kim Jong Un made sure that the exhibition was held at the highest level and visited it to watch the displayed data and works and give important instructions for developing the industrial art, he said.

He also stressed the need to deeply study the trend of the world industrial art development, conduct brisk exchange, pay deep public attention to industrial art and thus make tangible contributions to building a rich and powerful country.
