DPRK Anniversary Marked by Indian, Bangladesh Papers
Pyongyang, September 9 (KCNA) -- Papers of India and Bangladesh carried special write-ups on the occasion of the 64th anniversary of the DPRK.

The Indian paper Defence and Humanity on Sept. 2 carried articles under the headline "On the occasion of 64th anniversary of DPRK" with a portrait of smiling President Kim Il Sung.

In the article titled "Country strong in independence", the paper said it is just the DPRK which is consistently maintaining the principle of independence in politics, self-supporting in the economy and self-reliance in national defence.

Kim Il Sung set forth the anti-imperialist, anti-feudal democratic revolutionary line suited to the specific conditions of Korea and carried out the socialist revolution and construction in keeping with the demand of the Korean people and the specific conditions of Korea, it noted.

The line of Songun politics advanced by Chairman of the National Defence Commission Kim Jong Il is a thorough-going independent line which helps creditably defend the sovereignty and dignity of the country by its own efforts, it stressed.

Supreme leader Kim Jong Un is standing in the van of the DPRK, it said, adding he solemnly declared that the DPRK will invariably advance along the road of independence, Songun and socialism.

The DPRK will shine long as a country strong in independence, it concluded.

The Indian paper New Delhi Times on Sept. 1 carried a special write-up with a portrait of smiling Kim Il Sung.

In the article titled "Leader Kim Jong Il's heritage" the paper said that he left as heritage the great feats guaranteeing the eternal foundation of socialist Korea and its rosy future.

A Bangladeshi paper on Sept. 3 carried articles titled "President Kim Il Sung's feats for nation-building", "Marshal Kim Jong Un, sun of the world" and "Kimilsungism-Kimjongilism".
