Anniversary of Kim Jong Il's Start of Songun Leadership Marked Abroad
Pyongyang, September 7 (KCNA) -- Events were held in different countries on the occasion of the 52nd anniversary of leader Kim Jong Il's start of the Songun revolutionary leadership.

Seminars were held in Nigeria and Pakistan, a lecture in Austria, a ceremony for opening a Korean book, photo and handicraft exhibition in Mexico, photo exhibition in Malaysia and a book and photo exhibition at the Secretariat of the Pan-African Movement between Aug. 24 and 29.

Displayed in the venues of the events were photos showing the Songun leadership exploits of President Kim Il Sung and Kim Jong Il.

On display there were works of the peerlessly great men, photos showing the true appearance of Songun Korea and handicrafts associated with the creative talents of the Korean people.

The chairman of the Nigerian National Committee for the Study of the Juche Idea said that Kim Jong Il's Songun revolutionary leadership ushered in a new era of prosperity unprecedented in the Korean nation's history spanning 5 000 years.

The chairman of the Nigerian Group for the Study of the Juche Philosophy said it is inevitability of history brought by Kim Il Sung and Kim Jong Il, pioneers and leaders of Songun revolution, that the Korean people demonstrated their might as an independent people whom nobody dares provoke.

The chief of the Group of Youth for the Study of Kim Jong Il Juche Idea in Vienna, Austria noted that it is entirely attributable to the Songun politics, matchless army and all people single-mindedly united around their leader that the U.S. dares not provoke the DPRK.

The general secretary of the C.C., the People's Socialist Party of Mexico, in a speech said that the Songun revolutionary cause of Juche is sure to win victory as long as there is Kim Jong Un, supreme leader of the DPRK.

A message to the dear respected Kim Jong Un was adopted at the seminar in Pakistan.
