Anniversary of DPRK Celebrated in Kyrgyzstan, Nigeria
Pyongyang, September 6 (KCNA) -- A meeting took place in Kyrgyzstan and a Korean photo exhibition was held in Nigeria from August 24 to 31 to mark the 64th anniversary of the DPRK.

Displayed in their venue were photos on immortal exploits President Kim Il Sung and leader Kim Jong Il performed in the effort for founding and developing the DPRK.

Also displayed there were photos introducing the DPRK.

Present there were personages of the People Unity-"Kyrgys El" Republican Political Party of Kyrgyzstan, the Kyrgyz Group for the Study of the Juche Idea and the Art and Cultural Council of the Ministry of Federal Capital Territory of Nigeria and masses.

The chairman of the Central Council of the People Unity-"Kyrgys El" Republican Political Party of Kyrgyzstan who is chief of the Kyrgyz Group for the Study of the Juche Idea referred to the undying feats Kim Il Sung performed in the effort for founding and developing the DPRK.

At the end of the last century when the human cause of independence was in great difficulties due to the collapse of socialism in the East European countries, the DPRK firmly defended socialism and won only victories despite the worst adversity under the wise leadership of Kim Il Sung and Kim Jong Il, he noted, and went on:

The Korean people are now striving to build a thriving socialist country, united close around the dear respected Kim Jong Un.

The director of the Art and Cultural Council of the Ministry of Federal Capital Territory of Nigeria said it was Kim Il Sung and

Kim Jong Il who built a country of the people, the first of its kind in the history of the Korean nation spanning 5000 years, a powerful socialist country which stands unfazed by any storm and stress of history.

He noted that the DPRK which remains dignified for its independence in politics, powerful for its self-supporting economy and unshakable for its self-reliance in defence is always sure to triumph.
