S. Korea's "Human Rights" Racket at Int'l Conference under Fire
Pyongyang, September 5 (KCNA) -- The Lee Myung Bak regime of south Korea openly says that it "plans to highlight the north's human rights issue" with the International Pen Conference due in south Korea in mid-September as a momentum. It even seeks to draw the "Pen Center of Defectors from the North", a plot-breeding organization, into the International Pen Club.

Minju Joson Wednesday says this in a bylined commentary.

Terming the regime's projected anti-DPRK "human rights" racket a revelation of its sinister design to escalate confrontation with the fellow countrymen, the commentary goes on:

It is its ulterior intention to step up rhetoric against the compatriots in the international arena through such anti-DPRK burlesque, not just confining it in south Korea.

It is so impudent for the group of traitors to talk about "human rights."

It is south Korea where elementary freedom and rights of people are trampled down by the fascist "Security Law" and such hideous crimes as kidnapping and killing of children are committed in an unbroken chain. Its human rights abuses can be proved by the fact that it gagged the progressive media organizations and persons to deceive south Koreans and massively fired conscientious media persons and put them into custody.

Lurking behind the projected "human rights" racket by the Lee group and the "Saenuri Party" is a sinister political purpose to tide over the daily worsening ruling crisis, incite hostility between compatriots in the north and the south and escalate the inter-Korean confrontation.

The fair public and intellectuals speaking for justice and truth will never pardon the group's confrontation moves.

The group of traitors is set to turn the Conference into the theater of an anti-DPRK "human rights" racket but it will become one of punishing it.
