Korean Youth Will Contribute to Sacred Cause Common to Mankind: Rodong Sinmun
Pyongyang, August 29 (KCNA) -- The young Koreans will as ever creditably fulfill the honorable responsibility assigned to them by the party and the country with indomitable faith and will and positively contribute to the sacred cause common to mankind in firm unity with young people of other countries, says Rodong Sinmun Wednesday in a bylined article.

The young people with noble ideal, great ambition and creative ingenuity are a powerful force for advancing history and changing the world, the article notes, and goes on:

History shows that when young people dynamically rise up, aware of their mission, they can work really astonishing miracles.

A pressing issue arising in protecting the stable living environment of mankind is to prevent a war.

The progressive youth of the world should resolutely struggle against those who force subjugation and submission upon other nations and the imperialists keen to instill misanthropy into youth and to fall victim to their aggression and nuclear war and use them as bullet shields.

The ever-more worsening pollution of environment, natural disasters, etc. not only inflict wounds upon people but gravely threaten the existence of mankind. Young people have a heavy commitment to settle these tasks of the times.

If young people are to discharge their noble mission for the times and mankind, they should strengthen the bonds of international friendship and unity. The young Koreans are deeply aware of their honorable mission in the era of independence in the course of weathering the unprecedentedly rigorous and grim ordeals under the leadership of the great party, and have always creditably performed their duties they have assumed before the country and the nation.

The young Koreans will wage a more dynamic struggle to defend the sovereignty of the country and achieve the people's happiness and prosperity under the leadership of the dear respected Kim Jong Un.
