Seminar, round-table talk, reading session, photo exhibition and film show were held in Bangladesh, Uganda, Malaysia and Ethiopia from August 17 to 22.

Displayed in the venue of the photo exhibition in Bangladesh were photos showing the revolutionary feats of President Kim Il Sung and leader Kim Jong Il.

Films shown included Korean films "Arms of Korea" and "Reply of Korea."

The chairman of the Bangladesh Institute of the Juche Idea and other speakers said that the DPRK could frustrate the imperialists' war moves and demonstrate its might as a political, ideological and military power under the Songun leadership of Kim Jong Il.

The deputy principal of Kitante Primary School in Kampala City of Uganda in a reading session on "Short Biography of Comrade Kim Jong Il" noted that the Songun revolutionary feats of Kim Jong Il will remain forever in the hearts of not only the Korean people but world progressives.

The director of a company of Malaysia in a film show stressed that thanks to the Songun leadership provided by Kim Jong Il for more than half a century the Korean People's Army has grown to be a matchless army and the DPRK accessed to powerful war deterrent.

The director of the Designing Bureau of the Office of Design and Supervision of Water Project of Ethiopia and other speakers at the round-table talk praised Kim Jong Il as the most distinguished statesman and strategist in the present times who made a tangible contribution to the peace in Northeast Asia and the rest of the world.
