Congratulatory Message Serves as Inspiring Banner for Young People
Pyongyang, August 28 (KCNA) -- The Democratic People's Republic of Korea is now significantly marking the Youth Day (August 28), with colorful celebrations involving youth delegates from across the country.

On Monday, respected Marshal Kim Jong Un sent a congratulatory message to the participants in the meeting for celebrating the Youth Day and other youth across the country, in which he extended heartfelt congratulations and greetings to young people.

The message represents his deep trust in the young people.

Choe Chol Bom, a delegate of the Korean People's Army, told KCNA:

"The message, sent by Supreme Commander Kim Jong Un, serves as an inspiring banner as it encourages young people in military services and in socialist construction.

As ordered by the supreme commander, we will never miss the golden opportunity but deal prompt deadly blows at the enemies and lead the battle to national reunification if they fire even a single shell on the territory of the country."

Pak Chol Min, a student at Kim Il Sung University, said:

"Marshal Kim Jong Un initiated holding celebrations of the Youth Day and sent the congratulatory message carrying his deep trust in young people.

The message serves as guidelines brightly indicating the road ahead of us."

Yu Il Myong, a student at Kim Chaek University of Technology, said:

"In the message Kim Jong Un put forward a slogan 'Let Us Open Shortcut to Final Victory by Pushing Back the Frontiers of Latest Science and Technology!'

Holding high this slogan, I'll prepare myself to be a successful scientist with wide-ranging knowledge and perspective self-esteem, thereby making a contribution to building a thriving nation."
