Youth Delegates Tour Pyongyang
Pyongyang, August 27 (KCNA) -- Delegates to the celebrations of the Youth Day visited various places here.

They went to Mangyongdae, the birthplace of President Kim Il Sung, and the Revolutionary Martyrs Cemetery on Mt. Taesong on Sunday.

Choe Yong Chol, a delegate from South Hwanghae Province, told KCNA:

"President Kim Il Sung's family members in Mangyongdae devoted themselves to liberating the country from the Japanese colonial rule, undergoing all sorts of hardships.

We are carrying forward the tradition of the family, the tradition of Mt. Paektu.

We will fulfill the duty entrusted to us in the Songun (military-first) era, however difficult the road ahead of us is."

Ri Hak Chol, a delegate from Jagang Province, said:

"Now I am spending enjoyable days in Pyongyang.

I am overwhelmed with desire to live up to the trust of the Workers' Party of Korea in the young people.

I'll become a youth hero in the efforts to glorify Kim Jong Un's era."

A delegate, Han Ji Hyon (16), elder sister of Han Hyon Gyong, who saved portraits of President Kim Il Sung and leader Kim Jong Il from a landslide at the cost of her life in June, said:

"Respected Marshal Kim Jong Un sent his autographic letter to my family, in praise of my sister's behavior.

With his trust kept deep in my mind, I'll follow suit of the anti-Japanese revolutionary fighters and devote myself to contributing to carrying forward the revolutionary cause of Juche."
