Korea's Liberation Anniversary Marked in India, Ethiopia
Pyongyang, August 25 (KCNA) -- Events took place in India and Ethiopia on August 13 and 14 to celebrate the 67th anniversary of Korea's liberation.

They were a seminar, book and photo exhibitions and film show hosted by the Indian Intellectuals' Society for the Study of the Juche Idea and a lecture by a branch of the Ethiopian Youth Study Group of the Juche Idea.

Displayed at the venues of the events were photos showing the greatness of President Kim Il Sung and leader Kim Jong Il and their revolutionary exploits.

Also displayed there were works of Kim Il Sung and Kim Jong Il, books and photos on the development of Korean-style socialism.

The participants in the film show watched Korean film "Arms of Korea".

The chairman of the Indian Intellectuals' Society for the Study of the Juche Idea said Kim Il Sung terminated the Japanese imperialists' military occupation over Korea.

Kim Jong Il who inherited the cause of Kim Il Sung defeated the imperialists' moves to stifle the country by dint of Songun and turned it into a political, ideological and military power possessed of nuclear deterrent, he added.

The Korean people hold supreme leader Kim Jong Un, identical to Kim Il Sung and Kim Jong Il, in high esteem as Marshal of the DPRK, he said, adding rosy is the future of the DPRK that is building a thriving socialist nation under his leadership.

The chief of a branch of the Ethiopian Youth Study Group of the Juche Idea said in the lecture that Korea's liberation amounted to the victory of the adroit guerrilla tactics of Kim Il Sung, legendary guerrilla commander.

His exploits will be brilliantly recorded in the world history of the struggle for national liberation in colonial countries, the chief added.
