Rodong Sinmun Slams S. Korean Authorities' Policy of Aggression against DPRK
Pyongyang, August 22 (KCNA) -- The grave situation prevailing on the Korean Peninsula is an inevitable product of the policy of war of aggression persistently pursued by the Lee Myung Bak group of traitors against the DPRK.

Rodong Sinmun Wednesday says this in a bylined article.

The south Korean conservative regime's "policy toward the north" is a policy for a war of aggression to do harm to the fellow countrymen in collusion with foreign forces and a criminal and traitorous policy blatantly challenging the desire of the nation and requirements of the times, the article notes, and goes on:

Watchwords "No nukes, opening and 3 000 dollars" advocated by the Lee group are a version of the U.S. hostile policy toward the DPRK aiming at "achieving unification under liberal democracy".

The puppet regime totally negated inter-Korean declarations, great programmes for reunification common to the nation. It derailed north-south dialogue and cooperation projects that had made favorable progress, by taking issue with the nuclear issue and "human rights record" in the DPRK.

The south Korean war-like forces hell-bent on confrontation and war left no means untried to push the inter-Korean relations to catastrophe and ignite a war against the DPRK.

The "policy toward the north" enforced by the Lee Myung Bak regime since it came to power stirred up the atmosphere of confrontation and war on the Korean Peninsula, not the desire for independent reunification. Now the Koreans should give momentum to the enthusiasm for independent reunification. But the Lee regime challenged them by staging Ulji Freedom Guardian joint military exercises in August every year.

UFG clearly indicates what grave phase the U.S. imperialists and the Lee regime's moves to provoke a war against the DPRK have reached.

Now that they challenged the DPRK with UFG, its army and people are left with no option but to mercilessly wipe out the warmongers.
