Big S. Korean Businessmen's Murderous Crackdown upon Workers Slammed
Pyongyang, August 21 (KCNA) -- The national solidarity council of part-time workers unions of south Korea issued a statement on August 19 denouncing the Hyundai Motors for its murderous and illegal crackdown upon the unionists.

The statement said that core members of the part-time workers trade unions of the company were suppressed by gangsters hired by the business side on August 18.

Early in the morning, dozens of gangsters committed violence against the heads for organization and information of the union in the compound of the company and referred them to the police under the groundless pretext that "they illegally occupied it."

Not content with it, in the afternoon the gangsters abducted the secretary general and the head of general affairs of the trade union before committing violence against them and throwing them out in a place far from the company.

The statement condemned the company side for perpetrating such gangsterism, branding the workers' walking in the compound of the company as "illegal occupation."

The company side committed such hideous terrorism for the mere reason that the trade union opposed the deceptive step taken for part-time workers, it noted.

It stressed it would turn out in actions for preventing the violence by big businessmen and abolishing the part-time jobs.
