Reappointment of Chairman of "Human Rights Committee" of S. Korea Assailed
Pyongyang, August 20 (KCNA) -- Of late, traitor Lee Myung Bak of south Korea reappointed Hyon Pyong Chol as chairman of the "Human Rights Committee", defying the strong opposition of the public.

Rodong Sinmun Monday says in a bylined commentary in this regard:

Hyon, after holding the post of the chairman of the committee in the present conservative regime, is a fascist who has wantonly violated the democratic freedom and rights of the south Koreans and taken the lead in inciting the confrontation with the DPRK under the pretext of "human rights".

The south Korean people are becoming increasingly assertive in calling for judging the conservative ruling forces with the approach of the "presidential elections".

The period of Lee's tenure of office is interwoven with crimes against humanity and human rights abuses.

Their revelation will be enough to make him stand trial, not just impeachment.

Particularly, the south Korean people's wrath against the regime is running the highest now as it pushed the inter-Korean relations to the collapse and increased the danger of a nuclear war.

Much upset by this, Lee is making last-ditch efforts to overcome the ruling crisis and attain his inveterate black-hearted ambition for "unification of social systems".

Hyon's reappointment was prompted by this aim.

The Lee regime is gravely mistaken if it thinks it can hide its human rights abuses and realize its ambition for confrontation by taking under its wings the wicked element who has taken the lead in kicking up the anti-DPRK "human rights" racket.
