S. Korean Radio Calls for Japan's Apology for Its Sexual Slavery
Pyongyang, August 18 (KCNA) -- Making apology for the sexual slavery is the first step forward in Japan's settlement of its past crimes, said KBS of south Korea on Thursday.

The United Nations and other international bodies consider the Japanese government is responsible for the sexual slavery, KBS said, adding they have become vocal in denouncing the sexual slavery as crimes against humanity like the mass killing of Jews by Nazi Germany.

The United States and other countries adopted resolutions demanding Japan make apology and reparation, but Japan still refuses to make an official apology and is even asserting there is no evidence proving the forcible mobilization, said the radio.

It referred to the vigorous campaign being staged by the victims of the sexual slavery in demand of Japan's settlement of its past crimes.

It urged Japan to apologize for the sexual slavery as early as possible.
