Bangladeshi Paper Introduces Women of DPRK
Pyongyang, August 18 (KCNA) -- The Bangladeshi paper Blits on August 10 introduced women of the DPRK who have led a worthwhile life under the loving care of the great persons of Mt. Paektu.

The paper noted:

In the DPRK women are leading a worthwhile life with the same right as men, playing a big role in the country and society.

Thanks to President Kim Il Sung the Law on Sex Equality was promulgated on July 30, 1946.

The President took all necessary measures to free women from the household burdens.

Leader Kim Jong Il showed loving care for women just as the President did.

Kim Jong Il saw to it that huge state investment was made for the promotion of women's health and for the provision of better living conditions to them.

He established the traits of respecting women in whole society and led the work to steadily increase their role in the revolution and construction.

Today women in the DPRK have become powerful force pushing one of the wheels of the revolutionary chariot by positively taking part in the activities of politics, economy and culture.
