Looking round fields of the farm in the county seat and the Sinphung Farm, the premier acquainted himself with crop prospect and manure applied to fields.

He underscored the need to solve the food problem to properly enforce the sub-workteam management system which was created by President Kim Il Sung and whose validity was proved.

He discussed how to give free rein to the enthusiasm of the agricultural workers for production and increase the per-hectare grain yield.

Earlier, the premier visited the Ryongchon Co-op Farm in Hwangju County, North Hwanghae Province to study the operation of the sprayers of agricultural chemicals and their technological features and discuss the issue of applying them to other farms throughout the county.
