The Ecuador-Guaranda Institute for Friendship and Cultural Solidarity with the Korean People in its statement branded the attempt to destroy statues of peerlessly great persons of the DPRK as a grave act of hurting the dignity of the supreme leadership of the DPRK, an open declaration of a war and hideous terrorism against it.

It was entirely just that the DPRK clarified its stand to take a tough counter-action against the base acts of the enemies, the statement noted, and continued:

Such politically-motivated terrorism attempted by the south Korean Lee Myung Bak group of traitors at the instigation of the U.S. was the most vivid expression of its persistent hostile policy towards the DPRK.

The U.S. and the Lee group should stop at once all hostile acts against the DPRK, well aware of the gravity of the prevailing situation.

The Canar Provincial Institute for Friendship and Solidarity with DPRK of Ecuador in its statement noted the provocations of the U.S. and south Korean puppet regime against the DPRK have already gone beyond the tolerance limit.

The U.S. is a hotbed and a kingpin of all evils as it is hell-bent on conspiratorial plots, terrorism, subversive acts, assassination, etc. against progressive countries, the statement said, and went on:

It is a well-known fact that governments and people of progressive countries fell victims to gruesome terrorism sponsored by the U.S.

Running high is the DPRK's indignation at the attempted hideous terrorism of the U.S. and its lackeys, the Lee group of traitors.

Those who dare commit such gruesome terrorism as destroying inviolable statues of peerlessly great persons will not be able to escape the severest punishment.

We extend our full support and solidarity to the army and people of the DPRK in their struggle to punish the enemies.
