Truth about US, S. Korean Abduction and Terrorism Disclosed (3)
Pyongyang, August 11 (KCNA) -- The U.S. and the south Korean puppet regime are abducting even people of the DPRK aboard wrecked ships and taking them away to south Korea.

International law calls for sending back to their countries those people in distress found in seas.

The south Korean regime put in custody two residents of the DPRK who had been adrift toward the south in the East Sea in October 2011. It has not yet sent them back to the north, pressurizing them to make "ideological conversion." When nine residents of the DPRK were adrift to Japan after meeting distress in the East Sea in September of the same year, it took all of them to south Korea in conspiracy with the Japanese reactionaries.

The south Korean regime abducted 31 residents of the DPRK who had been adrift in the West Sea in February 2011 and took them to south Korea. It resorted to appeasement, threat and even torture, pressurizing them to make "ideological conversion" for more than 50 days. It finally refused to let four of them come back to the north. These were thrice-cursed atrocities.

At least 70 inhabitants of the north were abducted to south Korea after meeting shipwreck in seas during the office of the Lee Myung Bak regime.

When those residents abducted by south Korean agents in a third country refuse to comply with their unacceptable demands, they were put in custody and persecuted in basements of their embassies or consulates general for several months or years before being taken to south Korea.

In case of women they are reduced to sexual slaves for them. When they feel unbearable shame and get degenerated, they are taken to south Korea.

After being taken to south Korea, they are questioned for several months by the "joint investigation team" made up of agents of the Intelligence Service, the Ministry of Unification and military and police officers. Then they are sent to such concentration camp called "Hanawon" for three-four month-long "brainwashing for anti-communism" before being sent to different parts of south Korea.

They are subject to all sorts of unbearable maltreatment and contempt.

More than 60 percent of them are wandering about in streets without any job. Even those employed are forced to do most tough and dirty and dangerous work for the pay less than the half of the wages of ordinary workers in south Korea. 95.6 percent of them live in a small rented room and 75 percent of them are below the poverty line. They have to carry with resident registration cards specially marked "Defector to south Korea" so that they are isolated and maltreated wherever they go. Their children are insulted at schools.

Some of them live like animals on the side of roads leading to mountains to eke out their living. They live on the leftover food thrown by mountaineers in daytime and sleep in the open air, their bodies covered with tree leaves.

Those who find no means of living in south Korea after being taken there get degenerated. They either choose to commit crimes or suicides or flee to a third country.

It is the sordid method employed by the U.S. and the puppet regime to drive those hopeless abductees into crimes against the DPRK.
