Three Charters for Reunification Supported by International Community
Pyongyang, August 8 (KCNA) -- The international community has positively supported the three charters for national reunification formulated by leader Kim Jong Il.

The three charters for national reunification consist of the three principles of national reunification, the 10-point programme of the great unity of the whole nation and the proposal for founding the Democratic Federal Republic of Koryo.

A Senegalese paper said that it is a supreme task for the Korean nation suffering from more than half a century-long division to reunify the country.

It went on:

Today they are provided with the firm guidelines for national reunification, the three charters for national reunification which were advanced by President Kim Il Sung and formulated by Kim Jong Il.

They clearly set forth the fundamental principles and ways for reunification and, therefore, grasped the hearts of the Korean people and encouraged the entire Korean nation to accomplish the cause of national reunification.

The Pakistani paper Baluchistan Times said that Korea's reunification is to establish national sovereignty on a national scale, connect the severed blood vessel of the divided nation and achieve its unity.

The Nigerian National Committee for the Study of the Juche Idea noted in its statement that the world progressive people who love peace and justice are positively supporting the charters, praising them as the most fair and aboveboard reunification programme for the independent and peaceful reunification of Korea.

The Peruvian Committee for Supporting the Independent and Peaceful Reunification of Korea said that the three charters for national reunification gave a bright prospect to the Korean people struggling for national reunification and the world progressives supporting Korea's reunification.
