Lee Myung Bak Regime Accused of Trying to Evade Its Responsibility for Attempted Terrorism
Pyongyang, August 3 (KCNA) -- Of late, the Lee Myung Bak regime of south Korea is claiming that it has nothing to do with the recent politically-motivated attempted terrorism, letting defectors to south Korea and conservative media paint Jon Yong Chol as an "impostor" who stoops to any infamy to make money.

The regime went the lengths of spreading a story that the recent case was a "farce" orchestrated by the north.

Minju Joson on Friday observes in a bylined commentary in this regard:

The regime's claim is a whopping lie.

Anti-DPRK plot-breeding bodies such as the "Front for Liberation of North Koreans" and "Society for Demolition of Statues" are being funded by the U.S. and the Lee regime.

It is by no means fortuitous that members of the society who defected to the south after committing crimes against the country and the nation openly said they would get hundreds of millions of won for blowing up statues in the north.

What is more intolerable is that the Lee regime is describing the recent case as a "farce" orchestrated by the north.

It is leaving no means untried to evade the responsibility for the attempted terrorism but in vain.

If the regime persists in its reckless terrorism, it will not be able to escape a merciless punishment by the enraged army and people of the DPRK.

Once the DPRK is determined to do something, it puts it into practice without conditions. This is well known to the world.

If something happens between the north and the south in the future, the blame for this will entirely rest with the Lee regime. This is renewed warning to it.
