DPRK's War Victory Day Marked in Different Countries
Pyongyang, August 1 (KCNA) -- A seminar, book and photo exhibition and film show took place in India and film shows in Uganda and Indonesia on July 24 and 25 to mark the 59th anniversary of the Korean people's victory in the Fatherland Liberation War.

On display in the venues of the events were books and photos showing feats of President Kim Il Sung.

Korean films were shown at the film shows.

The chairman of the Juche Philosophy Study Committee of India said that the great victory of the Korean people in the war was attributable to the wise leadership of the President.

The undying feats the President performed by shattering the myth of "mightiness" of the U.S. imperialists who boasted of being "the strongest" in the world and bringing about the beginning of downhill turn for the U.S. would shine forever, he stressed.

If the U.S. and the south Korean regime ignite another war on the Korean Peninsula, they will meet their final end, he warned.

The chairman of the Kampala City Committee of the Uganda National Resistance Movement said after watching a Korean film that he could know well that the U.S. was the very criminal who provoked the Korean War.

It was a noteworthy miracle in the world history of wars that the DPRK less than two years old won a victory in the war against the U.S. and its allies, he said.

Noting that the Korean People's Army under the command of the dear respected Kim Jong Un is demonstrating its might as an invincible army, he extended warm congratulations to him upon receiving the title of DPRK Marshal.
