The bulletin carried portraits of smiling President Kim Il Sung and leader Kim Jong Il and a photo of Kim Jong Un standing on the tribune of honor for a military parade marking the 100th Day of the Sun.

The bulletin warmly congratulated Kim Jong Un on receiving the title of DPRK Marshal according to a decision made by the Central Committee and the Central Military Commission of the Workers' Party of Korea, the National Defence Commission of the DPRK and the Presidium of the DPRK Supreme People's Assembly.

It expressed belief that the Korean people would continue to vigorously advance towards a victory in the drive to build a thriving socialist nation true to the behests of Kim Il Sung and Kim Jong Il under the wise leadership of Kim Jong Un.
