They said leader Kim Jong Il in his work gave comprehensive and scientific explanation to the issues for terminating Korea's division and reunifying it.

He formulated the three principles of national reunification, the ten-point programme for the great unity of the whole nation and the proposal for founding the Democratic Federal Republic of Koryo set forth by President Kim Il Sung as the Three Charters for National Reunification, they said. By doing so, he pieced together the President's exploits for the national reunification in a systematic and all-round way.

Attaching importance to the Korean nation, safeguarding peace and achieving unity are the main keys to breaking the impasse and opening the heyday for Korea's independent reunification, they concluded.
