Oratorical Meeting of Youth and Students Held
Pyongyang, July 25 (KCNA) -- An oratorical meeting of youth and students took place at the Youth Park Open-air Theatre in Pyongyang on Wednesday to celebrate the 59th anniversary of the victory in the Fatherland Liberation War.

The meeting started with celebration poem "Song of Praising War Victory Day". The orators vowed to firmly preserve the ever-victorious history and traditions provided by the peerlessly great persons of Mt. Paektu. They also pledged to fully demonstrate the stamina and bravery of Songun Korean youth in today's general onward advance by carrying forward the indomitable fighting spirit that was displayed by heroic soldiers in the flames of war.

Kim Won Chol, student of Kim Il Sung University, in his oratory "Iron-willed Commander" said that President Kim Il Sung defeated strong U.S. imperialists with the Juche-oriented military idea and original strategies and tactics during the past Fatherland Liberation War and achieved the brilliant victory.

Kim Sol Mi, journalist of the Korean Central News Agency, in her oratory "War and Laughing" told about the personality of the President as a great man who said with broad smiling that the aggressors to stifle the young DPRK were foolish and the Yankees misjudged the Koreans.

Ryom Su Hyang, student of Pyongyang Sunan Agricultural College, in her oratory "Power of Korea" highly praised immortal revolutionary feats of leader Kim Jong Il who demonstrated the invincible might of socialist Korea by wining victory after victory in the confrontation with the U.S and other imperialists by wielding the treasured sword of Songun

Kim Chol Nam, worker of the Post Office in Kowon County, South Hamgyong Provincial Post and Telecommunication Management Bureau, in his oratory "Fireworks" said that the fireworks for victory brought by Kim Il Sung and protected by Kim Jong Il will steadily go on up to the reunification of the country under the leadership of the dear respected Marshal Kim Jong Un.

Present there were Jon Yong Nam, chairman of the C.C., the Kim Il Sung Socialist Youth League, officials of the youth league and youth and students in the city of Pyongyang.
