Rodong Sinmun Japan's Moves to Draw Water to Its Mill Censured
Pyongyang, July 25 (KCNA) -- Japanese Foreign Minister Genba, addressing the ministerial meeting of the ASEAN Regional Forum held in Cambodia recently, talked about any dialogue, calling upon the DPRK to "restrain from additional provocation and take specific action for denuclearization". He went the lengths of underlining the need to implement the DPRK-U.S. agreement as soon as possible.

Rodong Sinmun in a bylined commentary Wednesday says in this regard:

By nature, Japan is not entitled to meddle in the issue of denuclearization of the Korean Peninsula and the issue of dialogue for it. This is entirely the issue which should be settled between the DPRK and the U.S.

The Japanese reactionaries have historically made wry words without principle at the talks related to the denuclearization of the Korean Peninsula, complicating their process. The issue of its denuclearization will be settled without Japan's intervention if the right time comes and condition ripens.

As far as the "provocation issue" is concerned, the real provocateurs are the U.S. military belligerent forces keen on the rackets for military threat to the DPRK and the Japanese reactionaries following them. "Restrain of provocation" touted by them is a shameless brigandish rhetoric little short of urging the DPRK to remain a passive onlooker to the encroachment upon its sovereignty and aggression moves against it.

It is an inveterate habit of Japan to draw water to its mill by taking issue with others.

Some days ago, the Japanese reactionaries passed through the Diet session the basic law on atomic energy and the law on spacecraft allegedly to contribute to "ensuring the state security". This means openly stepping up nuclear armament and space militarization under the pretext of "ensuring the state security". To hush up public criticism of this, they are talking loudly of "additional provocation", nonexistent in the DPRK. It is their criminal attempt to portray the DPRK's nuclear test and satellite launch as "provocation" and push forward their nuclear armament and space militarization under that pretext. Such method will never work in the bright world today.
