At the meeting the president expressed sincere thanks to the DPRK government for supporting the Malawi government's policy for people's wellbeing and socio-economic and political stability.

She said she was moved to see the Korean people meeting all challenges and successfully carrying forward the idea and cause of the preceding leaders.

She wished the Korean people further success in their efforts for building a thriving nation and reunifying Korea under the leadership of the dear respected Kim Jong Un.

She hoped the relations of friendship and cooperation with the DPRK would grow stronger.
