It praised the President as an iron-willed commander who liberated Korea through the protracted anti-Japanese armed struggle and inflicted the bitterest defeat in history on the U.S. which boasted of being the "strongest" in the world in the 1950-1953 Korean war.

The 7th issue of the German paper Rote Fahne said in an article titled the "DPRK carries forward the cause of Comrade Kim Il Sung" that Kim Il Sung is the founder of socialist Korea.

After the President passed away, general secretary Kim Jong Il defended socialist Korea in the most difficult period and brought a decisive turn in the building of a thriving nation, the article noted, adding:

The dear respected Kim Jong Un has successfully carried forward the cause of Kim Il Sung and Kim Jong Il.

He declared that he would carry to completion the revolutionary cause of Juche without the slightest deviation and concession.

The Korean people will surely inherit and accomplish their socialist cause.
