KCNA Commentary Brands Lee Myung Bak Family as Group of Thieves
Pyongyang, July 19 (KCNA) -- Lee Sang Duk, elder brother of traitor Lee Myung Bak of south Korea, who acted as if he is invested with tremendous power, got the cold shoulder being snubbed by the public in the daytime recently.

As he was entering the Seoul Central District Court being summoned by it on the suspicion of receiving a large amount of illegal money, passers-by suddenly grabbed him by the throat and then pelted him with eggs.

Lee Sang Duk, who styled himself "senior minister" of the present regime, became awkward in his appearance.

He, being tempted by lump sum, was bribed by two banks to help them deceive depositors. The banks have now gone bankrupt, enraging the people who lost their savings.

He is a kingpin of fraudulence, deception and corruption.

He received hundreds of millions of won from presidents of the Solomon Savings Bank and Mirae Savings Bank each. He is also head of the "six-men society" which played an active role in electing traitor Lee Myung Bak as "president" by employing whole gamut of fraud and cheatings.

He swindled a large amount of public donation out of the president of the Broadcasting and Arts Promotion Agency and cheated various businesses out of their money. Therefore, he was publicly denounced as "department store of various kinds of scandals".

Not only Lee Sang Duk but other members of traitor Lee Myung Bak's family are thieves.

Lee Myung Bak collected and concealed staggering 800 billion won through all kinds of trickery and vicious irregularities including the case of fabricating BBK stock price and the case of buying Naegokdong residential building site.

Shortly ago, a restaurant which his wife had operated in the U.S. with billions of won investment went bankrupt. Lee appropriated compensation for it out of budget of the "government" for this year.

Cousins of Lee's wife caused the case of Pusan Savings Bank that sparked furor across south Korea. They received billions of won from the director general of the Seoul Bus Transport Trade Unions by promising him to help become a member of the "National Assembly". In the meantime, the traitor's senior brother-in-law illegally raised millions of money in just three years.

His grandchildren by his daughter also have a large amount of money. Immeasurable is the cases of corruption and irregularities committed by his relatives including the case of raising slush fund committed by parents of his daughter-in-law and the case of fabricating stock price by his son-in-law.

Dozens of his relatives are now being charged with corruption and irregularities or in prison.

Saveliev, expert of the Institute of the Far East of the Russian Academy of Sciences, said that Lee Sang Duk knocked down "president" Lee Myung Bak, his younger brother, this time.

Lee Myung Bak, who has no way-out of political and moral destruction, had better end his pitiful life of his own accord.
