S. Korean Authorities Hit for Suppression of Pro-reunification Patriot
Pyongyang, July 17 (KCNA) -- Phanindra Raj Pant, secretary of the Nepalese Committee for Promotion of Reunification of Korea, issued a statement on July 11 denouncing the south Korean authorities for arresting and detaining Ro Su Hui, vice-chairman of the South Headquarters of the Pan-national Alliance for Korea's Reunification.

Condemning the inhuman crimes of the south Korean group of traitors which unreasonably arrested Ro upon his return from visit to Pyongyang to take part in the ceremony for the 100th day since the demise of leader Kim Jong Il, the statement stressed:

We regard the unreasonable arrest as a heinous act of hurting the dignity of the supreme leadership of the DPRK and an open provocation against socialism. We would like to state to the south Korean authorities that Ro's spirit and patriotic deed for national reconciliation and unity cannot be incriminated. He should be set free at an early date.

No force on earth can block the just struggle of all Koreans to reunify the country independently and peacefully through the great national unity, and the support and encouragement of the world progressives for it.

We strongly demand the south Korean authorities follow the spirit of the historic June 15 North-South Joint Declaration, abolish as soon as possible the "Security Law" going against it and stop all provocations against the DPRK.
