S. Korean Authorities Urged to Disclose Inside Story of Their Moves to Conclude GSOMIA with Japan
Pyongyang, July 14 (KCNA) -- The Center for Peace and Disarmament of the Citizens' Solidarity for Democratic Society of south Korea demanded the "government" authorities open to the public facts about how they pushed forward in secret the moves to conclude the General Security of Military Information Agreement (GSOMIA) with Japan.

The organization sent written requests to the "Ministry of Defense", the "Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade" and Chongwadae respectively on July 5.

It stressed the need to open all the materials including minutes of talks and working-level meeting between the Japanese and south Korean authorities for the discussion of the Acquisition and Cross-Servicing Agreement and GSOMIA, lists related to documents and their full texts, documents related to the military agreements exchanged between Japan and south Korea and between the U.S. and the south Korean authorities, a report prepared by the Lee Myung Bak regime for the promotion of the agreements and recorded speeches.
