S. Korean Organization Slams Shameless Act of Japanese War Criminal Enterprise
Pyongyang, July 12 (KCNA) -- The Citizens Council with Grand Mothers of the "Volunteers Corps" of south Korea held a press conference in Kwangju on July 9 and accused the Japanese Mitsubishi Heavy Industry Co. (MHIC) of refusing to make an apology and reparation for its past crimes, according to south Korean Christian Broadcasting System.

The organization said that the negotiations with the MHIC which had been under way since 2010 came to a final rapture on July 6.

It condemned the MHIC's side for taking an arrogant approach towards the negotiations and refusing to make an apology and reparation for forcibly taking away many Koreans to force them to do slave labor.

What is more intolerable is the attitude of the south Korean "government", it deplored, adding:

The present authorities not only remained a passive onlooker to this matter but sided with the MHIC, putting a damper on the negotiating table.

The organization declared it would stage more dynamic actions including filing a suit in a south Korean court against the MHIC and staging a demo and movement for boycotting Japanese goods.
