A Myanmar paper on June 27 carried an article titled "Political idea of President Kim Il Sung" illustrated with a portrait of smiling President and a photo of his revolutionary activities.

The life of the President, the father of socialist Korea, was totally dedicated to the people, the paper said, and went on:

He considered it as a transparent political idea to believe in people as in Heaven. He put forward the Korean people as the masters of the state and society. He deemed people's happiness his own happiness.

He covered more than 578 000 km equivalent to turning round the earth 14 and a half times to make journeys to mix with people till the last moments of his life from the days he set about building a new country after its liberation.

The Nepali paper Arpan on June 29 carried an article illustrated with his portrait. The article praised the undying feats he performed for the human cause of independence.
