S. Korean Regime Urged to Halt Move to Conclude Military Agreement with Japan
Pyongyang, July 3 (KCNA) -- Yun Mi Hyang, permanent representative of the Council for the Solution of the Issue of the Volunteers Corps in south Korea, on June 30 released an article in denunciation of the Lee Myung Bak regime's attempt to conclude a military agreement with Japan, a war criminal state.

The article said that Japan imposed a holocaust of war upon the peoples in the Asia-Pacific including the Koreans and committed human rights abuses that baffled human imagination.

This notwithstanding, Japan has refused to admit, repent, apologize and make reparation for its war crimes well-known in the world, the article noted. It, instead, has justified its crimes by distorting history.

The Lee regime, aligned with Japan, is set to provide a legal means for Japan in its effort to emerge as a military giant and pave a way for its intervention in the military affairs of the peninsula, the article added, calling it foolish and dangerous move.

It urged the "government" authorities to properly understand the people's mind-set, not just taking the public opinion opposed to the conclusion of the agreement for anti-Japanese feelings.
