DPRK's Significant Day Marked Abroad
Pyongyang, July 3 (KCNA) -- Events took place in different countries to mark the 48th anniversary of leader Kim Jong Il's start of work at the Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea.

A joint seminar, book and photo exhibition and film show were held in UK, lecture meeting in Guinea and seminar in Uganda from June 19 to 23.

Seen at the venues were photos showing feats of President Kim Il Sung, Kim Jong Il and the dear respected Kim Jong Un and books and photos introducing the Korean people's efforts for building a thriving nation.

DPRK film "Fireworks for a Thriving Nation" was screened at the film show.

A letter to Kim Jong Un was adopted at the event in UK.
