CPRK Secretariat Slams Lee Myung Bak Group's Moves to Purchase U.S.-made Weapons
Pyongyang, June 30 (KCNA) -- The Lee Myung Bak group of traitors of south Korea is mulling concluding a contract with the U.S. on purchasing U.S.-made weapons by spending a stupendous amount of money. In this regard the Secretariat of the Committee for the Peaceful Reunification of Korea (CPRK) released information bulletin No. 1002 on Saturday.

It said:

The Lee group set it as its "top-priority state task" before the end of the tenure of its office to conclude the contract on the purchase of U.S.-made weapons worth more than ten billion dollars this year. It requested the U.S. to sell weapons worth more than 1.409 billion dollars for the present, including multi-purpose helicopters, missiles and ultra-modern guided missiles.

The group went the lengths of contemplating introducing even fighters still in the process of development within its term of office by concluding the assessment of them through simulation flight, not through test flight.

The Lee group's moves are reckless acts of escalating military confrontation in the Korean Peninsula and Northeast Asia, sparking off an arms race and rendering the situation strained, the bulletin noted, and continued:

It is the black-hearted intention of the Lee group to run the whole gamut of treachery as pro-U.S. stooges before the end of its term of office so that it may please its master, meet its own interests, incite confrontation with fellow countrymen and keep even the next "government" under the U.S. yoke.

The army and people of the DPRK will never remain a passive onlooker to such moves of the Lee group. The group will be held fully accountable for all ensuing consequences, the bulletin warned.
