S. Korean Media Man Calls for Achieving National Reunification
Pyongyang, June 30 (KCNA) -- Jaju Minbo, an Internet paper of south Korea, on June 12 posted on its Internet website the poem "Reunification" written by its Representative Ri Chang Gi now behind bars.

The poem says that those talking about sinister "expenses for reunification" inciting war and confrontation are nothing but snobs utterly indifferent to the nation.

Accusing the present "government" of begging outsiders to render cooperation to it in carrying out its policy of opposing reunification and pursuing confrontation, leveling guns at fellow countrymen, the poem deplored for how long the nation has to suffer shame in the eyes of the world.

Only when the south and the north of Korea achieve the independent and peaceful reunification free from foreign forces' interference, can the Korean nation fully exalt its dignity as a prosperous and powerful nation, and achieve peace on the Korean Peninsula, the poem said.

It expressed towering anger at those who are foolish enough to persistently trumpet about the "expenses for reunification," a hurdle lying in the way of reunification.
