Russian FM Spokesman Accuses U.S. of Its "Human Trafficking Report"
Moscow, June 28 (KCNA) -- A spokesman for the Russian Foreign Ministry on June 25 chided the "human trafficking report" released by the U.S. Department of State.

The spokesman said that the report listed the U.S. and other Western countries as "excellent countries" in combating "flesh traffic" while classifying those countries which incur the displeasure of the U.S. as those in which human rights of people are wantonly violated and called for slapping sanctions on them.

The U.S. State Department which makes a detail survey of "flesh traffic" situation in other countries has failed to look into its own problem, the spokesman said, adding that the fact goes to prove that the U.S. still remains the world's biggest "flesh trafficker."

100 000-500 000 immigrants are falling victim to flesh traffic for labor exploitation and 100 000 children are forced into prostitution in the U.S. every year, he noted.

The U.S. report is keeping mum about the fact that there are facilities for sexual slaves in U.S. military bases overseas, he noted, expressing skepticism about the substantial effect of the "U.S.-style remedy for combating flesh traffic" which the State Department has billed as a model.
