End to Unequal S. Korea-U.S. Relations Demanded
Pyongyang, June 29 (KCNA) -- A lawmaker from the Unified Progressive Party of south Korea issued a commentary on June 13 on the lapse of 10 years since GIs drove their armored car over south Korean schoolgirls Sim Mi Son and Sin Hyo Sun, killing them in cold blood.

Candlelights held high by people in the memory of the two victims ten years ago were aimed to put an end to the U.S. belligerency and preserve the sovereignty and peace of the nation, the commentary said, and went on:

The unequal "Status of Forces Agreement" (SOFA) is the root cause of GIs' ceaseless crimes.

The Lee Myung Bak regime keeps maintaining humiliating relations with the U.S., not trying to amend even a single word in the SOFA.

The commentary urged it to set right the unequal relations with the U.S.
