End to Discrimination against Part-timers Demanded in S. Korea
Pyongyang, June 27 (KCNA) -- The Council of the Solidarity for School Part-timers in south Korea on June 23 held a rally in Seoul demanding the abolition of discrimination against part-timers.

The rally brought together more than 6 000 school part-timers from across south Korea.

Speakers at the rally chided the harsh discrimination against part-timers at schools and the continued unreasonable lay-off.

Expressing irrepressible anger at this serious inequality, they urged the school sides and authorities concerned to take steps for immediately abolishing discrimination against the part-timers and guaranteeing even minimum rights.

They declared the workers would unite close in their actions.
