Cuba Slams U.S. Unreasonable Behavior
Havana, June 23 (KCNA) -- Cuba Wednesday denounced the multimillion-dollar fine the United States has imposed on Dutch bank ING for reportedly doing business with Cuba in violation of U.S. sanctions.

According to a statement from the Cuban Foreign Ministry published in the official daily Granma, the 619 million-dollar fine "is the largest fine imposed by the OFAC (the U.S. Office of Foreign Assets Control) in its history for alleged violations of existing unilateral sanctions against various countries."

"The Government of Cuba denounces this new outrage, which makes a mockery of the universal demand for the United States to end its blockade against the island," the statement said.
