Schoolchildren from Cho Island Enjoys Camping in Pyongyang
Pyongyang, June 23 (KCNA) -- Schoolchildren from Cho Island spent pleasant days at the Mangyongdae Children's Camp in Pyongyang.

They arrived in Pyongyang on June 16. They visited a room dedicated to the history of the camp associated with the loving care of Generalissimos Kim Il Sung and Kim Jong Il who made sure that the camp was built in picturesque Mt. Ryongak and the Ryongaksan Revolutionary Museum.

They enjoyed boating, mountaineering, sports and amusement games, training their body and mind.

They had a discussion on the writings done by them, poem reciting and a joint art performance with schoolchildren in Pyongyang. At these events they spoke of their great happiness of receiving the profound loving care and blessings from the Songun brilliant commander.

Their pleasant camping was followed by tour of different places of Pyongyang.

They visited President Kim Il Sung's old home in Mangyongdae, the Tower of the Juche Idea, the Arch of Triumph, the Party Founding Memorial Tower, the Revolutionary Martyrs Cemetery on Mt. Taesong, etc. They went round Changjon Street.

They spent pleasant time at the Central Zoo, seeing animals' skills and observing rare animals.

They had real taste of Pyongyang cold noodle at Okryu and Chongryu restaurants.

Employees and officials of the Amusement Park in the Kaesong Youth Park and the Changgwang Health Complex showed all sincerity for them.

Schoolchildren from Cho Island left Pyongyang Saturday amid warm farewell of the officials and employees of the camp, carrying with them unforgettable memories of their pleasant camping.
