Tani Baler Lopera, international secretary of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Peru "Red Motherland", said that the joint declaration represents a proposal for independent peaceful reunification based on the idea of "By the Korean nation itself" and a fair and aboveboard reunification formula agreed upon by the north and the south of Korea.

The U.S. imperialists and Lee Myung Bak group of traitors of south Korea should not abuse the reunification-oriented self-restraint of the DPRK, he held, and went on:

The progressive parties, friendship and solidarity organizations and people of Peru fully support the joint declaration and extend invariable solidarity to the Workers' Party of Korea and the people of the DPRK in their struggle for the independent peaceful reunification of the country.

Oskar Molleby, chief of the Swedish Group for the Study of the Juche Idea, referred to the successes made in the Korean reunification movement since the publication of the June 15 North-South Joint Declaration and the October 4 declaration, a programme for implementing it.

The chief went on:

The dear respected Kim Jong Un said that the WPK and the DPRK government would join hands with whoever truly wants the reunification of the country and peace and prosperity of the nation and make responsible and persevering efforts to accomplish the historic cause of national reunification.

The south Korean authorities, however, turned down all these proposals of the DPRK and staged ceaseless military exercises against compatriots in collusion with foreign forces.

Facts go to prove that the implementation of the north-south declarations is unthinkable and it is absolutely impossible to achieve independent reunification, peace and prosperity as long as the present south Korean ruling forces are allowed to stay in power.

The north and south declarations must be implemented thoroughly to achieve the independent reunification of Korea and its peace and prosperity.

The June 15 joint declaration is a milestone and banner for Korea's reunification as it was hailed and supported not only by all Koreans but by the whole world.
