KCNA Holds S. Korean Lee Myung Bak Group Accountable for Increasing Danger of War
Pyongyang, June 20 (KCNA) -- The Lee Myung Bak group of traitors in south Korea, pro-U.S. and pro-Japanese lackeys, is increasing the danger of a new war on the Korean Peninsula through its reckless military provocations.

It was the Lee group that pushed the inter-Korean relations to the worst phase through its racket for confrontation of the social systems and unethical actions. Not content with this, it is getting evermore desperate in this ruckus, taking advantage of the U.S. preparations for a new war.

It is busy massively introducing new type destructive equipment and other weapons including the U.S.-made fighters, missiles and bombs, becoming louder in trumpeting about "additional provocations from the north" together with its American master.

It is also busy verifying and rounding off the capability for an actual war for carrying out the U.S. war scenario aimed to mount a preemptive attack on the DPRK.

The puppet warmongers staged a "drill for examining the posture to cope with a local war" under the simulated conditions of "attack on warships, provocative shelling and infiltration into key facilities" in an eastern coastal area and the largest-ever joint aerial combat drill with the U.S.

They also perpetrated such dangerous military provocation as demonstration of firing of artillery pieces including the MLRS in the forefront area less than 10km away from the north side, while crying out for "punishment" and "precision strike."

They are putting further spurs to military provocations in June.

In a week from June 18 to 25 the Lee group plans to stage "Hwarang exercise for 2012", joint naval exercise of the U.S., Japan and south Korea, the U.S.-south Korea joint naval exercise involving a U.S. nuclear-powered carrier and other war maneuvers.

The above-said military moves cannot be construed otherwise than dangerous developments as they create new tension on the Korean Peninsula and the region.

All facts go to clearly prove that traitor Lee Myung Bak is the top class lackey of the U.S. carrying out its policy for stifling the DPRK and the boss of the first line shock brigade serving the U.S. and Japan in their operations to disturb peace and stability in Korea and the rest of Northeast Asia.

The reckless military hysteria of the Lee group is reminiscent of traitor Syngman Rhee who played the role of a shock brigade when the U.S. ignited the Korean War on June 25, 1950, crying out for "northward march."

Even the slightest provocation on the peninsula may promptly lead to an all-out nuclear war between both sides and a regional war because it is the region where the world's biggest military forces including nukes are concentrated and there is neither lasting mechanism nor guarantee for averting a war.

The U.S. and the Lee group would be well advised to think twice over the grave consequences to be entailed by their moves for a new war.
