Minju Joson Terms U.S. Arch Criminal Harassing Global Peace, Stability
Pyongyang, June 19 (KCNA) -- It was disclosed that the United States sold military equipment worth over 2 million U.S. dollars to 60 countries each by FMS mode in the fiscal 2011 with the sales totaling 14.227 billion dollars.

Minju Joson Tuesday observes in a bylined commentary in this regard:

This indicates that the "peace" and "reduction of international tensions" touted by the U.S. so far are no more than a hypocritical talk to deceive the international community and conceal its ill-natured intention.

The U.S. is crying out for "peace", "stable situation" and "detente" but it wants, in actuality, aggression, war and escalated tensions, the commentary says, and goes on:

The U.S. munitions monopolies are exercising their influence in the political circles of the U.S., instigating them to harass peace and strain the situation in different parts of the world.

The U.S., in particular, is rendering the situation on the Korean Peninsula and its vicinity extremely tense and massively shipping latest military hardware into them allegedly to cope with the non-existent "military threats" and "provocations" from the DPRK. One of its important aims is to bulge munitions monopolies' purse.

The U.S. sale of munitions has resulted in upsetting the equilibrium of force in various regions of the world and increasing the danger of war. The U.S.-made weapons are being used to kill many people.

It is not fortuitous that the world is cursing the U.S. dollar, saying it is stained with blood of human beings.

The U.S. deserves stern punishment of justice as an arch criminal harassing global peace and stability as it dampens the desire of humankind for peace and incites war and confrontation in different parts of the world, the commentary warns.
