Talks between Party Delegations of DPRK and Myanmar Held
Pyongyang, June 17 (KCNA) -- Talks were held between the delegations of the Workers' Party of Korea and the Union Solidarity and Development Party, Union of Myanmar in Myanmar on June 14.

Present there from the WPK side were members of the delegation headed by Kim Yong Il, alternate member of the Political Bureau and secretary of the Central Committee of the WPK, and Kim Sok Chol, DPRK ambassador to Myanmar and from the Myanmar party side were the members of the delegation headed by the organizational secretary who is a member of the Central Executive Committee of the party.

At the talks both sides informed each other of their party activities and exchanged views on boosting the friendly and cooperative ties between the two parties and on other issues of mutual concern.

The organizational secretary, on behalf of the party, government and people of Myanmar, sincerely hoped that the dear respected Kim Jong Un would lead the Korean people to shining victory.

The DPRK turned into an invincible power under the guidance of President Kim Il Sung and leader Kim Jong Il, peerlessly great men, he stressed. It is a great fortune of the Korean people to hold Kim Jong Un in high esteem as supreme leader.

Noting that WPK's visit to Myanmar is a token of support and solidarity for the Union Solidarity and Development Party, Union of Myanmar, the organizational secretary voiced his determination to activate cooperation and exchange between the two parties.
