Participants in Int'l Insurance Seminar Visit Birthplace of Kim Il Sung
Pyongyang, June 14 (KCNA) -- Participants in the Pyongyang International Insurance Seminar visited Mangyongdae, birthplace of President Kim Il Sung, in Pyongyang.

They were the secretary general of the Federation of Afro-Asian Insurers and Reinsurers, delegates and members of delegations of companies of Russia, Sudan, Switzerland, Britain, Australia, India, China and Tanzania and a delegation of the Kumgang Insurance Company of the General Association of Korean Residents in Japan.

They visited the old home of Kim Il Sung and looked round historic relics preserved there, being briefed on his revolutionary history and his patriotic and revolutionary family members.

Hammam Badr, secretary general of the Federation of Afro-Asian Insurers and Reinsurers, said he got to know well about the revolutionary history of Kim Il Sung, adding the President's exploits will remain long.

Kevin Scott, department director of the Cunningham Lindsey International of the U.K., said he used to get great impression whenever he visited Mangyongdae.

He added he got a good understanding of the Korean people and other world peoples' respect for Kim Il Sung.

The participants visited the Migok Co-op Farm and the Folk Street in Sariwon city, North Hwanghae Province and Ryongmun Cavern and enjoyed an art performance given by the Samjiyon Band of the Mansudae Art Troupe.
