The statement noted that the way for ensuring the peace in the Korean Peninsula and survival of the nation is in sincerely implementing the June 15 joint declaration provided by leader Kim Jong Il.

But the Lee Myung Bak regime of south Korea has violated the north-south joint declaration and is reviving the past era of confrontation, the statement said, adding:

Such a grim situation on the eve of a war would not have been created in the Korean Peninsula if the present south Korean authorities had implemented the joint declaration and the day of national reunification would have been accelerated but for the Lee Myung Bak group of traitors.

To prevent the danger of a nuclear war and ensure the nation's peaceful living it is necessary to bury the Lee group of traitors who is making desperate efforts on the deathbed.

Whoever is a member of the Korean nation should fight resolutely against the war moves of the Lee Myung Bak group and war-mongers at home and abroad, holding the banner of June 15 joint declaration wherever they live in with the consciousness of being responsible for the reunification of the country and the peace of the Korean Peninsula.
